Falkland Islands Memorial Chapel

Pangbourne College wished to host the site for a Memorial Chapel dedicated to those who did not return from the conflict. Able to hold open air services, reminiscent of the field chapels, it can also close to embrace more private gatherings. The roof structure is a metaphor for the longitude/latitude grid amplifying the distance between the UK and the Islands.
